Why We Started
Most "best PM software" articles are thinly veiled affiliate funnels. They rank tools based on commission rates, not actual quality. We built PMCompared to fix that. Every comparison includes real pricing, verified feature lists, and published specifications.
How We Make Money
We use affiliate links. If you click through and sign up for a tool, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. This never affects our ratings. We clearly label pros and cons for every tool, and we do not accept payment for placement in our rankings.
Our Review Methodology
Every tool is scored on five dimensions: Features (30%), Ease of Use (25%), Pricing (20%), Scalability (15%), and Customer Reviews (10%). Scores are based on documented feature analysis, published pricing data, and published specifications.
Our editorial team
PMCompared is run by a small team of project managers, Agile coaches, and work-management specialists. Each writer covers the categories they have personally tested, so our comparisons reflect real migrations and live workflows rather than rewritten vendor claims.
